“150 Years of Immortality: Vasil Levski, the Revolution and the Future World”
The initiative is commemorated on the 150th anniversary of the death of Vasil Levski. The conference will bring together established scholars and leading young specialists to present and discuss various aspects of the life and work of
Vasil Levski in the context of European political thinking in the nineteenth century and of the Bulgarian national liberation movement in the 1860s and 1870s.
The event is part of the National Programme to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the death of Vasil Levski under the patronage of the President of the Republic of Bulgaria.
