Dr. Mihail Simov

National History Museum

Mihail Simov defended his doctoral dissertation at the Faculty of History, Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” in 2017 and is currently a curator at the National History Museum. His dissertation and related publications address the activities of Russian intelligence in Southeastern Europe during the period 1856–1878. His scholarly interests are focused on various aspects of Russian Balkan policy and Russo-Balkan relations throughout the 19th century.
