The University Center for Regional Studies and Analysis is pleased to invite you to a lecture by Cengiz Yolcu on the topic:
“Vasil Levski and the Bulgarian National Revolution in Turkish Historiography and Ottoman Archives”
Cengiz Yolcu is a historian and senior assistant professor at Istanbul University “29 May”, where he is working on his dissertation on Ottoman-Bulgarian relations in the last quarter of the 19th century. He has a strong interest in Balkan history and in particular in the personality of the Apostle.
The lecture will take place on Tuesday, November 28, 2023 at 18:00 in Auditorium 21A of the Faculty of History of Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”.
