On 28 May 2026, the University Center for Regional Studies and Analyses (UCRSA) hosted a public lecture by Professor Evgenia Kalinova of the Faculty of History at Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”, entitled “The Crisis in Bulgarian–Turkish Relations in the Late 1980s: Diplomacy in Search of a Way Forward.” The event took place in Auditorium 35, South Wing of the Rectorate Building of Sofia University.
The lecture holds a particularly significant place in UCRSA’s lecture programme, as Prof. Evgeniya Kalinova is the first representative of the Faculty of History at Sofia University to be invited by the Centre as a guest lecturer.
A video recording of the lecture is available on the Facebook page of the University Center for Regional Studies and Analyses and can be viewed over the next 90 days.
